We teach two Open Water Courses; PADI Open Water Scuba Diver or the RAID Open Water 20.
Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through these courses respectfully.
Pre-requisites:
- Minimum 10 years old (PADI- Open Water Scuba Diver)
*10-14year old divers earn their Junior Open Water- PADI
- Minimum 15 years old (RAID- Open Water 20)
- You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. (Download a medical statement and questionnaire here)
- No prior experience with scuba diving is required
Duration:
3 – 4 days (3 hours everyday)
PADI Open Water Divers are qualified to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres
- Continue dive training by completing the PADI Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver certification and taking certain specialty diver courses
RAID Open Water 20 Divers are qualified to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 20 metres
- Continue dive training by completing the RAID Explorer 30 or Advanced 35 Open Water Diver certification and taking certain specialty diver courses
Includes:
- Instruction by an renewed PADI / RAID instructor
- Pool sessions conducted in a heated swimming pool
- 4 Sea dives – 2 hours underwater
- All equipment is supplied for the full duration of the course
- Registration with PADI /RAID both International Qualifications
- Certification Card or E card on successful completion of the course
